Marcia Griffiths: international recording artiste, hit singer & songwriter
Music producer and former member of The I-Threes (backup singers with Bob Marley and the Wailers).
An extremely popular and talented Jamaican singer, songwriter and recording star,
Marcia Griffiths gained more international fame by singing the song, regarded in the black communities in North America and Europe
as their Black Anthem: "Electric Slide", a song written by Bunny Livingston,
former member
of Bob Marley and the Wailers.
The dance moves that she created to go along with the song caused a new revolution in the
"dance steps" movement (called "stepping" in the USA). This song is played, and the dance steps are done by old and young alike
at weddings, birthdays, corporate staff parties worldwide.
